I chose to take graphic design class this year because I think that I might want to be an architect and so much of what they do is designing on the computer, so I thought that doing graphic design would be a good way to introduce myself to the topic. This course is important to me because I am not very good at drawing, or doing art by hand, but graphic design is a way for me do do art without having to draw by hand. I enjoy doing things that are realistic, and nice, but also do abstract. I enjoy doing these because I can make things that aren't my ideas, but that are also original because I can change whatever I want. Now that I have started to take the course I can look at different things, and notice what the designer did, and how he did it. Since I am doing this course as a tenth grader, it is a good start to me being able to become an architect, or some other design job.
